Career

HeyTutor

In 2026, HeyTutor was acquired by ESS, the largest education staffing company in the country, in a strategic acquisition backed by The Vistria Group. It was the company I cofounded at 19 and ran as CEO and Chairman of the Board for ten years, and along the way we grew into one of the leading providers of high dosage tutoring for public schools in the country.

• NameBorn Skyler Lucci. A DNA test in 2022 rewrote our family story, and I changed my name to Khan. Click here for the full story.
• EducationLe Lycée Français de Los Angeles, then Hawthorne in Beverly Hills, then Beverly Hills High. No college. I went to work instead.
• PoliticsHard to label. I did well inside this system and still think it leaves too many people behind. I believe in luck more than hard work stories, think wealth should actually be shared, and would rather see America help the world than fight in it.
